In order to popularise the theme of RTI Act, 2005 sopts and jingles were broadcast through Prasar Bharati Commercial Broadcasting Services in All India Radio, Cuttack during the Rath Yatra running commentry on 24/06/09 at a cost of Rs. 28,858/- .

To create awareness on the provision of the RTI Act 2005 and the Odisha Rules framed thereunder a sum of Rs. 62,48,000/- was placed at the disposal of Collector & District Magistrates to organise interactive workshop at Gram Panchayat level taking into account two adjoining Gram Panchayats as one unit.

A sum of Rs. 20,000/- was placed with Odisha Judicial Academy, Cuttack for organisation of Interactive workshop for in Service Judicial Officers of the State to create awareness on the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005 and Odisha Rules framed thereunder.
